Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support daily operations with an agile, reliable, and innovative approach, while putting people first, working as a team, and acting with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or local responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit activity at utility-related facilities, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential hazards.
• Support access control and site operations by completing logs, incident reports, and shift communications, while following post orders and client-directed procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
