Nesco Resource, 14 plus time winner of the Best in Staffing Award, is looking for experienced machine operators for a reputable Solon company. Our client, a leading innovator in chemical technology for automotive maintenance and repair, is looking for experienced Machine Operators on 2nd shift to grow with the company.

Machine A Operator
Location: Solon, OH
Salary: $20 to $23 an hour based on experience
Shift: 2nd (3:00 pm to 11:00 pm Monday through Friday)

The Machine A Operator is responsible for the following:

• Operating filling and packaging equipment according to procedures
• Tending to machines that perform various packaging functions such as filling, labeling, packing or closing containers.
• Responsible for adjustments, set-ups, changeovers, loading, maintenance, cleaning and general operation of various filling and packaging machines
• Organizing and performing job in accordance with bills of material and routing instructions
• Responsible for quality inspection of goods to ensure that product is packaged according to specifications
• Completion of all required paperwork for production as needed by MFG procedures
• Identifying problems and assisting in troubleshooting
• Assisting in training of new operators and assisting other teams as needed
• Promoting and following all safety guidelines and procedures, and recommending safety improvements as needed
• Forklift experience required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 years previous experience as a Machine Operator in a Manufacturing environment
• Previous experience working with filling and packaging lines and/or consumer products.
• Able to lift at least 65 pounds occasionally.
• Able to stand for 6-8 hours per day.
• Must be able to understand and carry out oral and/or written instructions.
