Ralph's American Grill is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to assist with supervision of staff and operations.
Position Summary
The Restaurant Supervisor assists in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure excellent guest service, team support, and compliance with company policies and all applicable local, state, and federal laws. This role supervises team members during assigned shifts and supports operational efficiency. This position does not have full managerial authority over hiring, termination, or compensation decisions but may provide input to management.
Essential Functions

- Supervise front-of-house team members during assigned shifts.
- Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate service priorities.
- Ensure guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards.
- Address guest concerns and resolve service issues; escalate when appropriate.
- Support opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reconciliation in accordance with company policy.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service laws and regulations.
- Assist with training and onboarding of new employees.
- Reinforce company policies, attendance standards, and workplace expectations consistently and fairly.
- Coordinate with kitchen and event teams to maintain smooth service flow.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the restaurant.
- Complete shift reports and communicate operational updates to management.

Supervisory Responsibilities
- Provides shift-level supervision and direction to restaurant team members.
- Assists with training and performance feedback.
- May provide input to management regarding employee performance.
- Does not independently make final hiring, termination, or compensation decisions unless specifically authorized.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum one (1) year of restaurant or hospitality experience required.
- Prior leadership or shift lead experience preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
