We are seeking an experienced Commercial Floor Restoration Technician who understands commercial floor restoration techniques, operates professional floor care equipment with confidence, and takes pride in producing exceptional results for our customers.

This position is intended for experienced commercial floor care professionals—not entry-level janitorial or routine cleaning positions.

Position Overview
As a Commercial Floor Restoration Technician, you'll perform specialty floor care and restoration projects at a variety of commercial facilities including office buildings, schools, manufacturing plants, warehouses, healthcare facilities, retail locations, churches, and other commercial properties.
You'll work independently and alongside experienced technicians to restore, protect, and maintain commercial flooring using professional equipment, commercial-grade products, and proven restoration techniques.

Primary Responsibilities
Perform commercial specialty floor care services including:
• VCT stripping and refinishing
• Strip and wax projects
• Floor stripping and waxing
• Multi-coat floor finishing
• Floor sealing and floor finish application
• Scrub and recoat projects
• High-speed burnishing
• Floor buffing and polishing
• Commercial carpet cleaning
• Hot water carpet extraction
• Encapsulation carpet cleaning
• Spot removal
• Tile and grout cleaning and restoration
• Hard surface floor restoration
• Natural stone restoration
• Marble restoration
• Terrazzo restoration
• Concrete floor cleaning and restoration
• Epoxy floor restoration
• Commercial pressure washing (when applicable)

Additional responsibilities include:
• Evaluate flooring conditions and determine the appropriate restoration process.
• Complete projects safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards.
• Safely mix, handle, and apply commercial floor care chemicals and finishes.
• Load, unload, clean, and maintain company equipment and vehicles.
• Secure customer facilities after projects are completed.
• Assist with training and mentoring technicians when appropriate.
• Represent Envision professionally while providing exceptional customer service.
• Follow OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and manufacturer recommendations.

Professional Equipment Experience
Experience operating commercial floor care equipment is highly preferred.
Equipment may include:
• 175 RPM floor machines
• Swing machines
• Automatic floor scrubbers
• Walk-behind auto scrubbers
• Ride-on floor scrubbers
• High-speed electric burnishers
• Propane burnishers
• Carpet extractors
• Wet vacuums
• Commercial vacuum systems
• Orbital floor machines
• Specialty restoration equipment

Qualifications
Required
• Minimum 3 years of commercial floor care or commercial floor restoration experience
• Experience performing VCT stripping and refinishing projects
• Experience operating professional floor care equipment
• Valid driver's license
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to successfully pass a comprehensive background check
Preferred
• Experience leading commercial floor restoration projects
• Experience training or mentoring technicians
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Important Clarification
We're looking for experienced commercial floor restoration professionals.
While experience operating an automatic floor scrubber as part of routine janitorial cleaning is valuable, that experience by itself does not meet the experience requirements for this position.
We're seeking technicians with hands-on experience restoring commercial flooring systems using professional equipment and commercial restoration techniques.
