Site Loss Control Specialist
A Site Loss Control Specialist is needed for a company that produces electronics and HVAC equipment for buildings in the New Albany, OH area. This full-time onsite position requires a seasoned professional with experience in mission-critical environments, a strong understanding of technical electrical and mechanical systems, and preferred BCSP certifications to provide safety guidance, risk management, and loss control services for data center construction and retrofit projects. location: New Albany, Ohio

education: Bachelors responsibilities:
- Coordinate and provide direction, training, and mentoring to onsite construction teams and internal stakeholders.
- Implement effective safety measures and perform risk assessments on retrofit projects.
- Generate safe work execution plans and collaborate with internal teams to monitor onsite safety programs.
- Maintain professional relationships to facilitate a zero-incident work environment.
- Facilitate incident investigations, root cause analysis (RCA), and reporting for corrective actions.
- Engage in cross-functional relationships to foster cooperation and enhance safety endeavors.
- Ensure internal processes are followed and align expectations regarding delivery timelines.
- Develop robust safety processes and standards in conjunction with internal stakeholders.
- Lead effective cross-functional communications to enable efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work with Subject Matter Experts to understand safety and quality control impacts of new designs and construction methods.
- Experience working in a mission-critical environment with awareness of proactive safety methodologies.
- Experience working within a comprehensive safety program.
- Demonstrated success in implementing Environmental Health and Safety enhancement programs.
- Proven ability to partner with team members and contractors to implement organizational change.
- Industry knowledge regarding the design and deployment of technical electrical and mechanical systems.
- Understanding of data center construction processes and standard practices in the design and construction industry.
- Knowledge of fast-track design-build processes and associated documents or contracts.
- Familiarity with ground-up construction and greenfield site development requirements.
- Familiarity with retrofit projects in live mission-critical environments or occupied spaces.
- Proficiency with MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to provide loss control services that assist the project team in delivering a safe job.
- Professional certifications recognized by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) are preferred.
- Specific preference for Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Construction Safety and Health Technician (CHST) designations.
