Title: Customer Relations Deputy Clerk Department: Bookkeeping/Customer Relations
Salary Range: $17.00 / per hour, negotiable depending on experience
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*--Assist the public at the Court window which includes taking payments and waivers.
*-- Process paperwork for attorneys, defendants and prisoners
MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*-- Inputs necessary information to dispose of cases.
*--Processes attorney and defendant’s motions for the Court.
*-- Answering incoming calls.
*--Assists all other Deputy Clerks as needed - including traffic, criminal, and bookkeeping departments.
*--Performs other related duties as assigned or special projects as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
*-- 2 years prior experience working in the legal field preferred.
*-- High school diploma/ GED required, and/or associate degree preferred.
*-- Computer skills required.
*-- Able to balance court money collected daily.
*-- Able to work with the Public.
*-- Excellent problem-solving skills.
*-- Be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
