Job Details:

• First shift, Monday - Friday
• 7:45 am - 4:15 pm

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with logistics, customer service, and other staff involved in shipment activities
• Assist with scheduling and rescheduling shipments
• Plan logistics including staffing and storage space
• Track and update incoming and outgoing shipments
• Prepare orders for shipment and verify the quality and quantity of orders
• Load and unload trucks and pallets
• Inspect incoming stock and reject damaged goods
• Complete documents for in-transit damage claims
• Report discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions to the supervisor
• Sort, separate, and store deliveries in designated areas
• Maintain inventory of materials and supplies
• Carefully maneuver equipment and tools that involve close control and adjustment
• Work individually and as a team to ensure orders are shipped out on time
• Comply with health and safety regulations and always wear protective gear
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Position Requirements:

• Previous shipping/receiving experience is preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is a plus
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Required to stand for an extended time
• Engage in frequent squatting, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting
• Ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions
• Ability to operate necessary tools and equipment after training
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Great analytical and problem-solving skills
• Follow written and verbal instructions
