Job Summary

The Digital Media Marketing Internship at Barrett Paving Materials is designed to provide college students with hands-on experience in digital marketing and communications within the construction & materials industry. Interns will gain exposure to marketing strategies, content creation, and digital media trends while contributing to meaningful projects that support both personal development and company objectives.

Main Responsibilities

• Capture and produce photo and video content from job sites throughout the Dayton & Cincinnati, OH area.
• Create and write marketing materials for social media, job postings, and other business needs.
• Design high-quality visuals using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
• Stay up to date on digital media, graphic design, and social media trends.
• Assist with additional marketing and communications projects that provide value to both the intern and the organization.

Skills

• Capture and produce photo and video content from job sites throughout New York and Pennsylvania.
• Create and write marketing materials for social media, job postings, and other business needs.
• Design high-quality visuals using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
• Stay up to date on digital media, graphic design, and social media trends.
• Monitor and analyze website and social media performance metrics.
• Assist with additional marketing and communications projects that provide value to both the intern and the organization.
• Willingness to travel as needed

Education

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
