Accounting Specialist - Billing

Location: Cincinnati, OH

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

As part of the Accounting team, you will primarily be responsible for:

• Generate invoices for clients based on projects and billed work
• Work with engineers to ensure their timesheets are accurately entered
• Responding to email requests and calls from Clients and Project Managers
• Project Lifecycle Management - setting up, funding, billing, closing
• Processing Purchase Orders
• Accurately post and allocate incoming payments against respective invoices
• Perform checks and analyze reports to ensure billing accuracy
• Month-end general ledger account reconciliations and other closing processes as assigned
• Assist leadership with reporting
• Assist with on demand analysis requests

The successful candidate will be a natural critical thinker, possess a strong attention to detail coupled with a client-focused attitude and strong communication skills.

• Commensurate business experience of 1 – 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Service oriented individual with strong communication skills to work with Project Managers and external clients
• Strong overall ERP skills and specifically related to project management and customer invoicing
• Intermediate Excel skills required with the willingness to move to the mastery level
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to receive direction, work independently and move forward as part of a team
• Well organized, analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
