You must meet the qualifications listed below; lift up to 50 lbs., available Monday - Friday between 6:00am and 6:00pm, must have reliable transportation.

Qualifications:

*Preference given to bilingual teacher

*Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred however, CDA or TCC's in ECE or other disciplines such as Communication, Languages, Social work is acceptable

*High School Diploma is required

*Two (2) years of relevant work experience with children ages (6 weeks) to five (5) years to provide a continuous care

*Knowledge of and the ability to implement developmentally appropriate practices

*CPR and First Aid Training preferred

*Effective oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups

*Possess a sincere desire to make a difference in the community

*Ability to have a positive relationship with children, staff and others from diverse backgrounds

*Ability to work effectively and positively with parents to improve the quality of life of their children

*Possess an attitude of continuous improvement

*Possess a commitment to continued education to include regular participating in workshops, conferences, training sessions, etc.

*Ability to perceive and deal with sensitive issues while maintaining confidentiality and objectivity

*Ability to follow through on given directives in a timely manner

*Flexibility in scheduling

*Ability to work as a team player to interact and assist all employees as necessary
