Home Instead® – Recruitment and Retention Coordinator Job Summary: The Recruitment and Retention Coordinator is responsible for identifying, hiring, and retaining compassionate and dependable Care Professionals (Care Pros) who align with the mission and values of Home Instead. This vital role ensures a positive Care Pro experience from initial contact through long-term employment. You’ll advocate for Care Pros, ensure their needs are supported, and recognize their contributions—all while helping grow and strengthen a high-performing team. - Initiate contact with all applicants within 24 hours of application submission
- Conduct interviews and screen candidates for values alignment and long-term fit
- Remove unnecessary steps to streamline hiring from application to orientation
- Maintain daily updates in Applicant Stack, Hireology, and Indeed
- Personally call candidates post-background check and pre-orientation
- Ensure a professional and compassionate recruitment process for all franchise locations
- Lead weekly Care Pro orientation sessions
- Collaborate with HR and Learning & Development on training and recognition events
- Transfer and maintain accurate new hire data in WellSky
- Conduct regular performance reviews and corrective action meetings
- Maintain weekly communication with Care Pros with zero scheduled hours
- Complete monthly check-ins with employees on leave of absence
- Address HR-related concerns and provide consistent, documented follow-up
- Report weekly KPIs including number of interviews, hires, and orientation attendees
- Submit monthly metrics: active Care Pros, hires, and deactivations
- Provide bi-monthly updates on retention efforts and staffing progress
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or HR certification preferred
- Experience in recruitment, human resources, or healthcare staffing
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Comfortable using technology including Outlook, Applicant Stack, WellSky (ClearCare), and Hireology
- Ability to build relationships, work with urgency, and stay calm under pressure
- Commitment to compliance and service excellence
- Completion of criminal background check, MVR, drug screen, and reference checks
- Passion for supporting the aging population
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
