About the Opportunity

Our client, a growing provider of home infusion pharmacy services , is opening a new location in Lewis Center, Ohio and seeking an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead pharmacy operations.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a pharmacist with significant home infusion experience who wants to help establish and grow a new pharmacy operation. You'll oversee regulatory compliance, pharmacy staff, medication management, and the delivery of safe, high-quality infusion therapy to patients receiving care at home.

What You'll Do

Pharmacy Operations & Compliance

• Lead day-to-day pharmacy operations for the new Lewis Center location
• Ensure compliance with Ohio Board of Pharmacy requirements and applicable state and federal regulations
• Oversee medication preparation, dispensing, storage, inventory, and documentation
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and ensure ongoing audit and inspection readiness
• Establish efficient workflows and operational standards as the new location grows

Home Infusion Patient Care

• Oversee the safe and accurate preparation and dispensing of home infusion therapies
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to optimize medication regimens
• Provide medication therapy management and clinical oversight
• Counsel and educate patients and caregivers regarding medications and infusion therapies
• Help ensure continuity of care throughout the home infusion process

Team Leadership

• Lead, train, mentor, and support pharmacy staff
• Establish clear expectations for quality, safety, productivity, and patient service
• Promote a collaborative and patient-focused pharmacy environment
• Partner with healthcare professionals, manufacturers, and other stakeholders to support patient care

What You'll Bring

• Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing
• 5+ years of home infusion pharmacy experience
• Previous pharmacy leadership or team management experience
• Strong knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Thorough understanding of home infusion pharmacy operations and patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities
• Ability to lead effectively while remaining hands-on with daily pharmacy operations
