Zoning Investigator

The Jackson Township Board of Trustees is accepting applications for the position of full-time Zoning Investigator in the Zoning Department. This position is responsible for performing zoning duties, including field inspections to verify compliance with the zoning resolution; investigating zoning and nuisance complaints; meeting with property owners to resolve compliance issues; process zoning permits; perform all other duties as assigned by the Zoning Inspector.

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Possess a high school diploma or equivalent;

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Basic knowledge of local government and Township principles.

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Zoning experience is not required but preferred.
