We are currently seeking an Entry-Level Locum MD (Medical Doctor) specializing in Radiology . As a Locum MD, you will play a crucial role in providing temporary medical services to our clients, ensuring the smooth operation of healthcare facilities. This position involves working on-site and participating in a variety of radiology projects, making a significant impact on patient care and outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Performing and interpreting diagnostic imaging tests such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.
• Providing accurate and timely radiology reports to assist in patient diagnosis and management.
• Ensuring compliance with medical protocols, regulations, and safety standards.
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance radiology services.
• Attending departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
• Adhering to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of work.
• Managing workload efficiently and prioritizing tasks effectively.

Requirements:

• Medical Doctor (MD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Radiology.
• Valid state medical license to practice in the designated area.
• Strong knowledge of medical imaging techniques and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and make critical decisions.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in diagnostic interpretations.
• Flexibility to adapt to different work environments and schedules.

Daily volume: 25-30 reads

Will read outpatient cases

Modalities: Body MRIs, CTs, PFs

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
