Digital Marketing Strategist
Job Description
Job Description
Digital Marketing StrategistQUALIFICATIONSThe Digital Marketing Strategist is a seasoned marketing professional who has earned their seat at the table. They don't need to be managed - they need to be challenged. They bring a depth of strategic thinking that comes from real experience across multiple industries, client types, and campaign environments, and they apply that experience to every engagement they touch.
This person has likely worked in an agency, moved into a corporate or in-house role, and found themselves missing the variety, pace, and energy that only agency life offers. They are not here as a stepping stone. They are here because they want to do great work, grow with a team that values their expertise, and build something they can point to over time. They are looking for a home, not just a job.
They are comfortable in a room with a small business owner who needs direction and equally comfortable presenting strategy to a mid-market leadership team that expects substance and precision. They read the room, adjust their communication, and always show up prepared. Clients trust them quickly because they demonstrate competence from the first conversation.
They go deep. They are not satisfied with surface-level recommendations or templated strategies. They dig into a client's business, ask the questions others skip, and build plans that are specific, defensible, and tied to real business outcomes. They understand that strategy without execution is just conversation - and they stay close to both.
They are collaborative professionals who work well within a structured team environment. They take direction from senior leadership without ego, contribute actively to team thinking, and bring their best whether they are leading a client call or supporting a colleague's account.
RESPONSIBILITIES Client Strategy & Campaign PlanningDevelop comprehensive digital marketing strategies for clients across paid media, SEO, content & web - tailored to each client's business objectives, competitive landscape & budget

Social Firm has been building brands and driving results for clients for more than 16 years - but don't let that fool you. We operate with the energy and ambition of a company that's just getting started. We're growth-oriented, data-driven, and focused on building and implementing systems for our partners - not just delivering services. That distinction matters to us, and it shows in how we work.
We move quickly and proactively. We don't wait to be told what needs to improve - we identify it, bring a solution to the table, and act on it. That mindset is something we look for in every person we hire and something we work hard to reinforce as a team. If you see something that could be better, we want to hear your idea, not just your observation.
We believe that when our people grow, the agency grows. That means investing in your development continuously - staying sharp, staying current, and bringing well-informed recommendations to our partners rather than just checking boxes. We go the extra mile because our partners expect it and because we hold ourselves to that standard.
Our culture isn't an afterthought - it's something we protect. We're results-driven but not cutthroat. We communicate openly, operate with high integrity, and know how to have fun while winning for our clients. We're also active in our community and take our role in it seriously.
Here's what you can expect:
A fast-moving, test-and-learn environment where your ideas are welcome
Genuine investment in your personal and professional development
Transparent, open communication at every level
Passionate teammates who take the work seriously and each other personally
Exposure to a wide variety of clients, industries, and campaign types
A growing agency with real momentum and room to move up
Community involvement and a culture that's well-regarded beyond our walls
Convenient Columbus location with on-site parking and quick access to downtown, Bexley, and the Short North
Competitive benefits
401K with company match
Group Healthcare benefits available for full time employees
Paid holidays
Generous paid time off
