What You’ll Do
As a Pricing Analyst for Goodyear's Retail outlets, you’ll support the Pricing Manager in developing and executing category-level pricing strategies. Your work will directly impact our ability to stay competitive, optimize margins, and deliver value to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Pricing Strategy & Analysis : Conduct in-depth pricing analysis to evaluate current strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Market & Competitor Insights : Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor pricing to inform strategic decisions.
- Promotional Planning : Contribute to the development of promotional calendars with data-backed pricing insights.
- Pricing Tools & Systems : Assist in building a best-in-class pricing engine and maintain pricing databases to ensure data accuracy.
- Performance Tracking : Help establish benchmarks and track KPIs to measure pricing effectiveness.
- Reporting & Communication : Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Ad Hoc Analysis : Provide on-demand analysis to support business initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
Education :
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field
- Preferred: Master’s degree in a related field
Experience :
- 3+ years in pricing analysis or a related field
- Industry experience in automotive or retail is a plus
Skills & Knowledge :
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Python and libraries such as SciPy, Pingouin, NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with pricing methodologies and processes
- Knowledge of automotive or repair data is a plus
- Eagerness to learn and grow in pricing strategy
