Medical Device Cleanroom Finishing Technician

Join our team as a Medical Device Cleanroom Finishing Technician and take ownership of the final steps that bring precision-machined medical devices to life. You’ll work to exact customer specifications while operating in ISO Class 7/6 cleanroom environments and following cGMPs and ISO 13485 quality standards.

A Day in the Life

You arrive, gown up, and step into a controlled environment where details matter. Throughout your shift, you will:

• Clean and package components per process routers, drawings, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Work Instructions (WI).
• Maintain ISO Class 7 and 6 environments by following cleanroom protocols and cGMPs.
• Manage the cleanroom: perform regular testing, cleaning, inventory control, and operate equipment such as the Atlas Vacuum Sealer, Aqueous Clean Line, and Citric Passivation systems.
• Run post-processing operations including Laser Marking, Vapor Degreasing, Blasting, Belt Sanding, and Additive Post Processing.
• Proactively escalate potential process and/or product deviations to prevent scrap, rework, and customer returns.
• Inspect product using CMM equipment, standard metrology tools, and visual methods in line with customer standards.
• Conduct tensile testing, complete inspection filing, and follow DHR (Device History Record) procedures.
• Keep your work area organized and clean throughout the day.
• Follow procedures in accordance with ISO 13485 quality standards.

What You Bring

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions.
• Math proficiency with units of measure, fractions, decimals, and whole numbers.
• Comfort using measuring devices and hand tools.
• Accuracy and speed in a fast-paced production setting to meet quality and quantity goals.
• Experience reading diagrams/blueprints and following documented instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude and dexterity; skilled with both hand and power tools.
• Ability to quality-check finished product and recommend rework when needed.
• Proficiency in deburring.
