Job Description

A global retail client in the energy sector is seeking Project Managers to join their team in support of a high priority strategic transformation program. This program is inclusive of operational, strategic, digital, and organizational change. The Project Manager will be responsible for the launch and implementation of this program utilizing their strategic consulting and project leadership skills. Core functions of the role include: root-cause analysis, scenario planning, synthesizing large datasets, building financial models, project planning, project tracking, and presenting strategic deliverables on an executive level.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in a relevant discipline

Background in strategy consulting for operational, digital, or organizational change

Ability to synthesize large datasets, insights, and stakeholder input into clear recommendations

Skilled at building financial models and forecasting

Experience creating and presenting strategies and roadmaps to senior or executive level stakeholders

Expertise working in an agile environment

Experience evaluating business cases, investment proposals, or strategic initiatives

Familiar with organizational change principles and transition planning

Experience in excel modeling and analysis

Experience with project management tools (MS project, Smartsheet, Asana, etc.)

Expert level experience in PowerPoint / Storyboarding Retail industry experience (highly preferred)

Insight into customer experience, retail operations, merchandising, or store performance

Knowledge of trends in convenience retail, mobility hubs, or consumer behavior

Energy / Oil and Gas industry experience:

Understanding of downstream retail, convenience, fuel operations, or energy sector dynamics

Familiarity with retail transformation, mobility trends, or network optimization
