Business Development Manager
Business Development Representative Position Profile
Position Summary: The purpose of this position is to assist the business development team in conducting activities to support the new business revenue growth. This position will be responsible for assisting the Business Development Manager with day-to-day business development activities as described below.

Key Activities
Develop and Maintain Prospective Customer Database
· Using internet research and various other information sources, locate qualified prospects
· Using internet research and various other information sources, gather contact information for possible decision makers at qualified prospects
· Enter complete and accurate information for all qualified prospects and contacts
· Update prospective customer database as new information is gathered
· Meet weekly with Business Development Manager to discuss ideas/suggestions/obstacles for maintaining prospect information in the database
Initiate Initial Contact with Prospective Customers
· Work with Business Development Manager to establish/adjust outbound initial contact strategy
· Using outbound telephone calls and emails, establish initial contact with prospective customers
· Record gathered information in the prospective customer database
· Schedule appointments for Business Development Manager where appropriate
· Meet weekly with Business Development Manager to review initial contact metrics.
Execute Nurturing Campaigns
· Work with Business Development Manager to establish/adjust outbound nurturing strategy campaigns
· Execute outbound email and telephone call nurture campaigns
· Schedule appointments for Business Development Manager where appropriate
· Meet weekly with Business Development Manager to review nurturing metrics.
Manage Content Development
· Work with Business Development Manager to develop/adjust content strategy.
· Assist in the development of content. Work with outsourced firm as needed.
· As needed, enlist team members to write content material.
· Edit, as needed, written content to establish final draft.
· Manage the content inventory.
· Meet weekly with Business Development Manager to discuss ideas/suggestions/obstacles for maintaining prospect information in the database
Proposal and Presentation Preparation
· Assist the Business Development Manager in gathering information for presentations and proposals
Manage New Sales Account Setup Process
· Gather via telephone and email, information needed for the completion of the new account start-up documentation
· Manage the cataloging of new account documentation – executed contract, budget, SOW, etc.
· Work in conjunction with Operations and Admin Teams to ensure smooth transition with new accounts
Organizational Relationships: The Business Development Representative reports directly to the Business Development Manager. Since the role supports numerous levels of the organization (e.g. operations, admin, HR,etc.), positive and harmonious communications must be maintained with the ultimate objective of the company operating in accord with Frantz mission and values.

Business Development Representative

· Using outbound telephone calls and emails, establish initial contact with prospective customers and maintain contact via nurturing calls and emails.
· Record gathered information in the prospective customer database
· Schedule appointments for the Business Development Manager where appropriate
· Meet weekly with the Business Development Manager to review initial contact metrics.
Manage New Account Setup
· Gather information needed for the completion of the new account start-up documentation via telephone and email.
· Manage the cataloging of new account documentation – executed contract, budget, SOW, etc.
· Work with Operations and Admin Teams to ensure a smooth transition with new customers.
