Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and issuing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely billing for our customers and clients. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and issue accurate customer invoices in a timely manner.

• Verify billing data, ensuring pricing, terms, and customer information are correct.

• Reconcile billing accounts and resolve discrepancies with internal teams and customers.

• Maintain detailed and organized billing records and documentation.

• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue invoices.

• Respond to billing inquiries and provide excellent customer service to clients.

• Collaborate with the accounting team to support month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

• 2+ years of billing, accounts receivable, or accounting experience.

• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite).

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in healthcare billing

• Knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.

• Familiarity with automated billing systems.
