Job Title: Project Manager – Residential Landscape & Hardscape
Location: Northwest Cleveland, Ohio
Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $80,000–$85,000

  • Bonus Program: Up to 15% of base salary

Company Overview:
Our client is a well-established and respected Residential and Commercial Landscape company serving the Northwest Cleveland market. They specialize in high-end residential design/build services, including outdoor kitchens, patios, pools, retaining walls, landscape design, irrigation systems, outdoor lighting, and complete outdoor living environments.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in residential landscape and hardscape construction. This individual will be the primary point of contact for the client and will be responsible for ensuring high-quality project delivery, exceptional client communication, and timely execution of work. You will typically manage 3–6 active projects, ranging from $20K to $400k+, with an average project mix of 65% hardscape / 35% landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage residential landscape/hardscape projects from contract to completion

  • Serve as the primary client liaison, providing regular updates and exceptional service

  • Schedule and coordinate field crews via the Production Manager

  • Oversee logistics, material procurement, and subcontractor coordination

  • Lead project forecasting, budgeting, value engineering, and revenue tracking

  • Maintain and manage gross margins to meet or exceed company goals

  • Utilize Aspire and Microsoft Project to track project progress and timelines

  • Participate in weekly internal meetings to review project status and maintain clear communication across all teams and stakeholders

  • Prepare Work in Progress (WIP) reports and update construction schedules as needed

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing residential landscape and hardscape construction projects

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with varying scope and size

  • Proficient in project management tools (Aspire and MS Project preferred)

  • Comfortable working on renovation/upgrade projects as well as new construction

  • Client-focused mindset with an understanding of the emotional investment in outdoor living projects
