Data Analyst

Description We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role involves creating and maintaining impactful Power BI reports and visualizations to support key business functions, including finance, operations, and sales. This is a remote position, offering the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams while delivering meaningful insights to drive decision-making. Responsibilities: - Develop and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports to support business needs across finance, operations, and sales. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable data solutions. - Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement. - Utilize data modeling techniques to design efficient and scalable data structures. - Ensure data accuracy and integrity while creating visualizations that effectively communicate insights. - Maintain and enhance existing business intelligence solutions to meet changing requirements. - Work closely with team members to provide technical expertise and resolve data-related challenges. - Leverage Microsoft SQL for querying and managing datasets. - Apply BusinessObjects technologies to support reporting and analysis processes. - Provide regular updates and clear communication to stakeholders about project progress and findings. Requirements - Minimum of 2-4 years of experience working with Microsoft Power BI. - Proficiency in data modeling and business intelligence tools. - Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL and its application in data analysis. - Experience with BusinessObjects technologies is highly desirable. - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities. - Familiarity with creating visually compelling and user-friendly dashboards.
