Restoration Technician

Water/Fire/Mold Restoration Technician for OTS Cleaning and Restoration LLC.

At On The Spot Cleaning and Restoration, we restore and rebuild homes and businesses damaged by water, fire, smoke, mold and other types of damage. We are dedicated to serving our customers so that while we restore, they recover!
Specific Responsibilities:

• Become proficient in water restoration, mold remediation, and fire damage clean-up
• Respond to water jobs and initiate water mitigation according to IICRC standards
• Complete water damage/mold remediation jobs to a high standard.
• Maintain all company restoration & cleaning equipment, keeping it clean & properly maintained to always be available.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and consumables to a high standard.
• Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions
• Be available by phone and email during scheduled duty hours / after hours.
• Communicate daily with team members.
• Lead by example by demonstrating:
• o good time management with handling existing/new assignments.o the proper way to follow safety protocols.o the proper way to wear PPE.o the proper way to scope water damage/mold remediation claims.
• Ensure job sites are clean, absent of safety violations, and inspection ready for OM.

• Additional duties as assigned.
• Willingness to travel in times of need

Job Requirements:QualificationsAble to perform physical work including common lifting and bending tasks in the industry.Job Type: Full-time or Part- time availablePay: $18.00 and up depending on experience and qualifications.Attendance and Performance wage increase after 90 days.

• IICRC Certifications a plus (WRT/ASD)
• Restoration and construction experience
• Valid Driver's License
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver heavy equipment, contents or debris for extended periods of time.
• Excellent communication skills
• Highschool or GED
• Must be able to pass a felony background check
• Two years of Mitigation/Remediation experience is preferred
• Certifications required, include Water Restoration Technician (WRT)/Applied Structural Drying (ASD)/Anti-Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT)/ Commercial drying specialist recommended
• Results-driven, activity-oriented, and supportive of aggressive targets.
• Residential and or Commercial construction experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass a Respirator fit test/utilize PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Willing to be on call and work in the field when the need arises.
• Able to occasionally travel.
• Interpersonal, communication, oral, and written skills
