Job Details – Cleveland Oncology RN Travel Assignment

• Location: Cleveland, OH 44106 (Ohio nursing jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Surgical Oncology, MICU Stepdown Unit
• Assignment Type: Travel RN job
• Start Date: January 5, 2026
• End Date: April 5, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend and holiday
• Hours per Week: 36
• On-Site Position

Qualifications – Oncology RN Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience required; oncology nursing experience preferred
• Oncology Nursing Certification (preferred)
• BLS certification (required)
• Experience in stepdown, surgical, and telemetry units a plus
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Compliance with onboarding health and professional requirements (immunizations, background checks, competency exams)

Key Responsibilities – Oncology Nurse

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to oncology patients in a surgical stepdown setting
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress
• Administer medications, chemotherapy, and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment, and recovery
• Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies
