Payroll/Accounting Specialist POST NUMBER: 465649
Pay $60-65k
Onsite in Westerville, OH Payroll & Benefits:
- Processing payroll for all of employees, non-union, all in Ohio.
- Process accurate and timely payroll
- Approximately 60% salaried / 40% hourly
- No commission calculations required (only data entry)
- Add new hires and enter proper tax information
- Maintain and update payroll records, deductions, garnishments, and changes
- Manage employee benefits
- Add / remove employees from benefit plans (terminations & new enrollments)
- Manage benefit changes
- Maintain knowledge of tax laws and payroll compliance Accounting Support:
- Post payroll to the general ledger
- Reconcile payroll liability GL accounts monthly
- Prepare journal entries related to payroll and benefits
- Process and reimburse payables related to company properties
- May touch the accounting system as needed for reporting or entries
