Snow Removal Operator
J.F.D. Landscapes, a well-established company serving Northeastern Ohio since 1989, is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our Snow Removal team. Responsibilities
- Be available on a 24/7 basis during snow events to ensure timely snow removal
- Operate trucks and/or machinery safely and efficiently in winter conditions
- Apply de-icing agents as needed to maintain safe surfaces
- Shovel snow in areas inaccessible to equipment when necessary
- Work as part of a team to complete assigned routes and support overall operations
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license required for truck operators (not required for loader operators)
- Ability to work in challenging weather conditions and perform physical tasks
- For company truck drivers, must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- For subcontractors using their own trucks, proof of insurance is required
Compensation
Competitive pay with drivers operating company equipment starting at $30.00 per hour and drivers using their own equipment starting at $65.00 per hour .
