Logistics Customer Service Representative (CSR) / Inventory Specialist

The ideal candidate will have professional written and verbal communication skills and 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving with a focus on inventory. The ability to use a computer, data entry systems and Microsoft Office Applications is essential. This person should like working in a high-paced environment, enjoy solving problems and finding ways to make processes more efficient.
As our CSR you will process all inbound and outbound paperwork. You will also manage all the of the scheduling and checking in of live load appointments. You will work with the lead Forklift Operator to set the daily operation up for success. Through digital and manual counting you will identify discrepancies with inventory reports and provide reports to the Warehouse Manager for review.
Responsibilities for Inventory Specialist
- Responding to client requests in a timely manor
- Scheduling all live load appointments
- Process all paperwork
- Maintain count accuracy (digital and physical counting)
- Updating database with incoming and outgoing products
- Work with Inventory Specialist on maintaining an accurate inventory.
- Comply with GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES, safety audit and food safety standards
Qualifications for Inventory Specialist
- 2+ years of experience in shipping and receiving
- Able to use a computer and other office technology
- Familiar with data entry systems
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail to identify defective products
- Able to multitask in a high pace environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and bend for long periods of time in a warehouse environment
