Maintenance Technician

Delaware company in need of a Maintenance Technician.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop a compressive Preventive Maintenance Program for each machine.
• Install/troubleshoot/repair/ maintain all equipment.
• Develop a Maintenance history for each machine (including parts used).
• Must be able to diagnosis problems, including CNC, electrical and mechanical.
• Must be able to qualify on a forklift and scissor-lift.
• Work whatever hours are necessary to get the job done. May include some nights and weekend work.
• Must understand and follow all the company, State and OSHA safety rules in regard to working on machinery and equipment.
• Utilize and execute continuous improvement through learning of lean knowledge within the company.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must have a valid Driver License.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Will be able to communicate effectively with all office and plant personnel.
• High level of expertise working on CNC routers, Turret, Punch Press, Brake, and Shear.
• Professional liaison with vendors and contractors.
• Above average skills in Excel.
• Past management/leadership experience is helpful.
• Lean experience preferred.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.

Monday to Friday 6am-4:30pm and Saturdays 6am-12p. Pay will be based on experience $25- $35/hr.
