Kitchen Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Kitchen Supervisor oversees day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring that food is prepared efficiently, safely, and to the brewery’s quality standards. This role is both hands-on and supervisory — perfect for someone who enjoys cooking while leading a small team. You’ll work closely with management and front-of-house staff to deliver a consistent, high-quality dining experience that complements our craft beers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including prep, line, and dish areas.
- Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
- Train, schedule, and supervise kitchen staff.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships.
- Monitor food and labor costs, minimizing waste and staying within budget.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Collaborate with management on menu development and beer-pairing ideas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and positive kitchen environment.
- Step in on the line or prep station during busy shifts as needed.
- Foster teamwork and communication between kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or lead cook role (brewpub or casual dining preferred).
- Strong cooking skills and knowledge of kitchen operations.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- ServSafe (or equivalent) certification preferred.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Passion for craft beer and interest in beer-food pairing is a plus!
