Healspace LLC and Talbot Health Services provide behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment services through evidence-based, recovery-focused care focused on helping individuals achieve stability and long-term wellness. Our multidisciplinary team supports individuals experiencing substance use disorders, mental health conditions, and co-occurring needs through individualized and compassionate treatment services.

We are seeking an experienced, organized, and motivated Case Management Manager to join our Monroe Street leadership team.

This position provides leadership and oversight for case management services while supporting care coordination, continuity of care initiatives, staff development, and quality treatment outcomes.

Candidates with behavioral health leadership experience and knowledge of Ohio substance use treatment environments are strongly encouraged to apply.

Position Summary

The Case Management Manager oversees day-to-day operations of case management services and provides supervision and support for case management staff. Responsibilities include staff oversight, quality monitoring, community resource coordination, workflow management, documentation review, and ensuring services support treatment goals and recovery outcomes.

This role works collaboratively with counseling, medical, nursing, admissions, residential, and executive leadership teams to ensure effective coordination of services and removal of barriers affecting treatment participation.

Services and documentation are expected to align with agency standards, OhioMHAS requirements, Medicaid standards, and applicable regulatory expectations.

Primary Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

  • Supervise and support Case Managers and related staff
  • Monitor productivity, workflow, staffing needs, and service delivery expectations
  • Provide coaching, guidance, onboarding, and ongoing staff development
  • Review documentation and monitor quality standards and timeliness
  • Assist staff with complex client situations and barrier resolution
  • Support discharge planning and continuity-of-care initiatives
  • Monitor referrals and community resource coordination processes
  • Collaborate with counseling, nursing, medical, and leadership teams regarding treatment needs
  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment meetings
  • Support quality assurance and performance improvement activities
  • Monitor compliance with agency standards and OhioMHAS expectations
  • Assist with hiring, staff performance discussions, and retention efforts

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current Ohio CDCA required and maintained in good standing
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, Behavioral Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum two years of behavioral health, case management, or substance use disorder treatment experience required
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Experience with co-occurring populations preferred
  • Knowledge of community resources and care coordination principles required
  • Strong communication, documentation, and leadership abilities required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in an OhioMHAS-certified treatment setting
  • Knowledge of ASAM criteria and placement principles
  • Familiarity with Medicaid documentation standards
  • Experience supervising multidisciplinary staff
  • Electronic health record experience preferred
  • Experience with quality improvement initiatives preferred
