We may have the perfect position for you!
In this position, you would be the subject matter expert for determining, reviewing, and verifying our member's eligibility for Disability, Survivor, and Service Retirement benefits. Using Chapter 145 of the Ohio Revised Code, you would complete benefit calculations, answer benefits questions, and manage benefits updates. You would also perform account maintenance and provide high-quality solutions to customer service requests, among other duties.

What you'll bring
- A high school diploma or GED
- One of the following:
- At least 2 years of experience in a claims processing center or customer service center or
- At least 1 year of experience as an OPERS Member Services Representative
- Basic MS Word, Excel, and Outlook skills along with strong keyboarding skills is needed
- Demonstrable knowledge of the OPERS Benefits Division, OPERS Administrative rules and the Ohio Revised Code - Chapter 145 is a plus.
