Job Description
- Perform personal care activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, and using the bathroom
- Perform household duties, including meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Provide patients with mobility assistance
- Follow assignments and guidelines set by RNs
- Prepare and submit all documentation by established deadlines in conjunction with policies and procedures
- Report unusual behavior and any other pertinent patient information to supervisor
- Show flexibility in responding to the needs of the patient
- Oversee self-administration of medications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Home Health Aide certification preferred, (we do provide our own training)
- Home Health care aide experience preferred but not necessary (provide our own training)
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable with little supervision
- Smart Phone and Email accessibility
