Maintenance Technician

We’re currently seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our client’s growing team in Madison, OH . This position plays a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all plant equipment through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment.

• Handle electrical, plumbing, and mechanical installations and maintenance.

• Assist with equipment setup, calibration, and production line adjustments.

• Conduct boiler, HVAC, and pump maintenance and repair.

• Manage inventory of maintenance parts, tools, and materials.

• Communicate with management on equipment issues, downtime, and maintenance planning.

• Ensure all maintenance activities meet safety and operational standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in industrial maintenance (electrical, mechanical, and plumbing).

• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding .

• Familiarity with industrial automation systems, instrumentation, and data entry .

• Experience with boiler trades, HVAC systems, rigging, and millwright work preferred.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

• Computer literacy for maintenance tracking and automation systems.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, and move 50–75 lbs.

• Comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders, and maneuvering in tight spaces.

• Capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and performing overhead work for extended periods.

• Able to work in various environments (hot, cold, noisy, dusty).

• Strong sense of balance and fine motor skills for detailed repair work.
