Your mission

Champion safe, repeatable setups and zero-defect launches. You’ll translate blueprints into machine-ready configurations, validate first articles, mentor other operators, and safeguard throughput across multiple machines.

How you’ll contribute

• Set up and operate stamping presses for single-hit and progressive-die work, along with supporting forming/shaping equipment.
• Handle coil and strip materials via cranes, hoists, or tow motors; ensure proper threading and alignment.
• Plan and install scrap chute arrangements for consistent, safe material discharge.
• Verify that parts meet all specifications before production release or handoff; conduct ongoing quality checks.
• Interpret blueprints with advanced proficiency and convert requirements into precise setups.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues rapidly to protect uptime and quality.
• Oversee and monitor multiple machines as production demands shift.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment in accordance with company policies and standards.
• Develop and train operators, sharing best practices in setup, safety, and inspection.

What success looks like

• Advanced capability with stamping presses, tooling, and production equipment, supported by tool/die/mold setup experience.
• Expert blueprint reading and inspection methods, including measurement verification against prints.
• Proven visual inspection skill: pinpoint defects, determine root causes, implement containment, and drive corrective action.
• Strong mechanical and equipment troubleshooting skills paired with excellent communication.
• Experience with Laser, MIG, and TIG welding, including setting up welding for production needs.
