We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer - Intermediate to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate will be proficient in full stack development and possess expertise in multiple design techniques. The role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software solutions while adhering to Agile methodologies and modern development practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable and resilient systems using Java or Python to support product teams.
- Execute software solutions, including design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
- Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that integrate with appropriate systems.
- Produce or contribute to architecture and design artifacts for applications, ensuring design constraints are met.
- Analyze and synthesize data to develop visualizations and reporting for continuous improvement of software applications and systems.
- Identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and explore new and emerging technologies.
- Foster a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficiency in coding with Java or Python languages.
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks.
- Familiarity with techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test-Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency, and security.
