As a Production Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) performance of our designated groups. Your responsibilities will include setting targets, implementing plans, and tracking results to drive continuous improvement. You'll also lead your team in problem-solving initiatives and facilitate workshops to enhance quality improvement methods.
Your role extends beyond performance management – you'll also be responsible for handling personnel issues, ensuring proper team management, and fostering individual development within your team. Safety is paramount, and you'll work diligently to maintain compliance with Group Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards, intervening when necessary to mitigate risks and improve working conditions.
This job will require you to:
o Lead the Quality Cost & Delivery (QCD) Performance for designated groups
o Direct QCD initiatives by setting targets, implementing plans, tracking daily results and making appropriate adjustments in resource planning in order to attain desired results
o Drive actions for improvement by communicating with the Production Manager, Production Supervisors of other shifts, and support functions to ensure a transparent information flow
o Manage team performance and know team problems
o Define areas for performance improvements with team members, drive teamwork, lead problem solving groups, lead workshops on quality improvement (5S, TPM, 6M…)
o Manage the personnel issues of the assigned team
o Ensure daily team management
o Ensure the respect of standardized work methods
o Maintain a presence on the floor to answer questions or address problems
o Develop the team
o Ensure proper staffing and integrate new team members
Your profile and competencies to succeed
Minimum education level:
- Associate's degree in Engineering/Diploma, with a specialization in Production
Professional Experience:
- 1-3 years of production experience, preferably in the automotive industry
- Team player, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Skills and competencies:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Operational level of English
