Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking a paralegal to join our Solon/Cleveland office to support our mass-tort and civil-rights practices. The ideal candidate will have prior relevant experience and/or outstanding academic credentials. Individuals considering law school or transitioning careers are welcome to apply for this role. If you are the right person, we can teach you how to do the work. 

 

All candidates must good-natured team members and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role requires unparalleled attention to detail and excellent organizational and editing skills. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and tech-savvy, and who brings a high level of professionalism and empathy to client interactions.

What your average day will look like:

• Communicate with potential and engaged clients;
• Communicate with the lawyers and paralegals on your team; 
• Manage client information, request documents, and review files;
• Draft and review routine legal documents;
• Calendar and docket management;
• Assist with discovery; and
• Create and maintain files in case management software.

What skills are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is not afraid of new technology and already has a grasp of the basics. A paralegal must be able to multi-task efficiently, prioritize workflow, and demonstrate creative problem-solving instincts. Enthusiasm for karaoke is preferred.
