TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43205!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Must have a valid nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience with cardiac care and IV insulin gtt preferred Must be able to float within units of equivalent or lower levels of acuity Description: Weekdays and some weekends are required. Every other weekend will be scheduled. The estimated patient ratio is 1:3-5. Experience with cardiac patients and IV insulin drips is preferred. IV start, telemetry skills, and intermediate care experience are required. Candidates must have experience with Epic charting. The unit has 24 beds with 9 beds designated for cardiac stepdown care. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Common patient diagnoses include chest pain, heart failure, and EKG changes. Special procedures in the unit may involve monitoring of patients recovering from cardiac issues. Candidates should be prepared to participate in rapid response and code teams as needed. Patients primarily consist of adults, with a daily census averaging around 22.81. About Cynet Health
