Caregiver – Weekends Only
Senior Helpers – W. Cuyahoga & E. Lorain Counties, OH
Senior Helpers of Cuyahoga West is currently hiring compassionate and reliable caregivers for weekend shifts only , including morning, afternoon, and overnight shifts . If you are passionate about helping seniors remain safe and comfortable in their homes, we would love to hear from you.
Pay Rate:
- $16.00 – $20.00 per hour , based on experience, availability, and client needs
Schedule:
- Weekends only
- Flexible shifts available:
- Morning
- Afternoon
- Overnight
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Medication reminders
- Run errands or provide transportation as needed
- Communicate clearly with clients, families, and office staff
- Accurately document care and report any changes in client condition
Requirements:
- Previous caregiving experience preferred (personal or professional)
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient demeanor
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans
