Minute Men staffing is looking for Assemblers for a Fire Truck Company, If you have experience and are interested. Apply Now!! Monday-Friday 7am-330pm $19 Weekly Pay.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Builds and Assembles ladders for fire trucks. Duties include preparing all handrails assembly, set up and layout for lacing & handrails, and installing and connecting cable anchors and slide block retainers by use of hand and air tools.

• Gather materials as specified in drawings.
• Use of saber saw to cut angles for ladders.-add?
• Forklift operation.-add?
• Use of paint thinners, cleaners and lubricants.-add?
• Inspect all materials for defects prior to use.
• Assemble individual sections of the ladder.
• Set-up, layout & drill holes for lacing & handrails.
• Install cable anchors.
• Install block retainers.
• Maneuver and make the necessary adjustments for ladder brackets.
• Overhead crane operation and inspection prior to use.
• Ensure air tools, air hose and other electrical equipment is inspected and ready for use.
• Communicate with supervisors, employees, and other building departments any issue(s) related to performing the duties of this position.
• Comply with organizations specific policies and procedures and safety and health standards including housekeeping standards.
• On occasion organize and put away parts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• 5 years of assembly experience (or combination of education and experience).
• Forklift License

Language Skills

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.

Mathematical Skills

· Perform basic mathematical equations and accurately utilize and read a tape measure.
