Experienced Concrete Laborer

Whited & Sons Concrete – Hudson, Ohio

Position Summary

Whited & Sons Concrete is seeking an experienced Concrete Laborer or someone willing to be trained for residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on construction experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a physically demanding environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare job sites for concrete placement, including excavation, grading, and material staging.
• Set, brace, and remove concrete forms.
• Install rebar, wire mesh, and other reinforcement materials.
• Assist with pouring, spreading, raking, and leveling concrete.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assist finishers and foremen throughout all phases of construction.
• Perform demolition and site cleanup as required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of concrete, construction, or related labor experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday.
• Experience using construction hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.
• Valid driver's license
