School teacher
Now Hiring: After School Teacher (Inspire, Lead, Grow! [Bay Village, Ohio] | Part-Time (potential for more hours during summer)
[Monday- Friday 1:45pm-6:30pm, year-round]
Start Date: 1/1/25
Are you passionate about working with children and making a real impact outside the classroom? We’re looking for an energetic, creative, and caring After School Teacher to join our team and help students learn, grow, and have fun in a safe and supportive environment!
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and engage students (K – 7th grades) in after-school activities
- Lead homework help, enrichment games, arts & crafts, STEM/STEAM activities & more
- Create a positive, inclusive environment that encourages learning and respect
- Ensure student safety and communicate with parents daily
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, coaching, childcare, etc.)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude and ability to manage a classroom with patience and enthusiasm
- CPR/First Aid certification, Child Abuse Recognition, & Communicable Disease Training (or willingness to obtain)
- 6 hours of Professional Development courses annually, paid for by the center
