Raymond Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning is currently searching for a full-time Sales-Service Manager to assist in the Sales process- including estimating and quoting- as well as assisting in managing the service department’s dispatch and scheduling functions.

The right candidate will have:

• Education and/or Experience- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; five or more years commercial and/or residential HVAC experience; or equivalent combination of HVAC education and experience required. Two years of sales, dispatching, and management experience preferred. Plumbing experience is a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Language Skills- Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with vendors, management, and co-workers.
• Mathematical Skills- Ability to apply general concepts such as percentages, addition, subtraction, division and multiplication to practical situations. Ability to read a tape measure.
• Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in personal computer skills including electronic mail, routine database activity, and word processing. FieldEdge experience preferred.
• Other Qualifications- Valid driver’s license is required. Ability to pass an MVR (Motor Vehicle Record Check) check in order to be insured on company vehicles and following company policy. Must be able to travel locally 50-70% of the time. EPA certification or HVAC license is a plus.

Our Sales-Service Manager will:

• Supervise and motivate residential service crew members including directing them towards the timely assignment of work orders to technicians based on skill set, location, and urgency
• Identifies and pursues new sales opportunities within assigned territories by generating leads, cold calling, networking, and attending industry events
• Maintain a pipeline of potential customers and actively following up on leads to close sales and ensures a smooth transition to the installation team
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with current and prospective clients by conducting in-home consultations and understanding their system requirements, including providing solutions and recommending properly sized HVAC systems
• Prepares estimates and detailed quotes regarding the amount of labor and materials needed for HVAC installations and replacements
• Tracks sales performance and report on key metrics to leadership, including sales margins, calls, and back logs
• Maintains records of customer feedback, time, and materials sufficient to report progress of the project and estimate future needs
• Resolves customer complaints quickly and favorably by coordinating with technicians, customers, and parts suppliers
• Maintains records of residential service orders and completes all required paperwork related to service calls including invoicing and billing as needed
• Ensures residential crew, sales crew, and other employees are adhering to all laws and regulations, including all company policies and procedures
• Monitor and take service calls to ensure quality, customer satisfaction, and adherence to company standards
• Performs all other duties as assigned

His tradition has been handed down to a second generation of Raymond family members who continue to bring home comfort to your community. Their oldest son, Keith, returned to Lorain and rejoined the family business in 1979. After his father’s death in 1986, and along with his siblings Shelly & Brian, they continued to grow the business. They carried on the values that were instilled in them. In January 2023, Raymond Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning changed hands with new owner Mike Sherrill, a longtime work associate of Raymond’s. Mike has continued to carry on the company’s legacy of hard work and quality workmanship.
