Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work within regular operating hours
• Must meet Ohio state criteria for child care employment

Responsibilities

As an Assistant Teacher , you will work side-by-side with lead teachers and families to provide a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment, following NAEYC-aligned best practices . Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years
• Assisting teachers with classroom instruction and daily activities
• Maintaining a warm, clean, and safe classroom environment that supports growth and exploration
• Interacting with children to encourage participation, creativity, and learning through play
• Decorating classrooms and learning spaces as needed
• Communicating effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s daily activities and progress
