Tracom, a division of Buyers Products, a leading manufacturer in the work truck
industry, is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator with a highly trained eye for quality
to join our metal working department. In this position, you’ll be exposed to the some of
the most high-tech welding and fabricating tools in use in the industry. You will learn
new and more advanced methods for fabrication, and you’ll be able to help support our
company’s vision of delivering products of the highest quality to our customers.

Shift: 1st and 2nd shift

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Run CNC Machines: Adjust machine to control speed, material feed and path of cut as appropriate
• Set Up CNC Machines to ensure machine is set up properly and producing quality products.
• Inspection of parts with protractor, calipers, height gauge
• Read blueprints and product plans to ensure proper set up
• Understand CAD/CAM technology
• Other related tasks as assigned

Education & Requirements:

• High school diploma or a GED equivalent
• At least two years of experience in fabrication
• Fraction and decimal math competencies
• Ability to read understand blueprints and work specifications
• Physical ability to lift at least 75 pounds or more

Preferred:

• Experience on Amada turret punches with experience in tooling
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
• Understanding of construction tasks and industrial processes
