MACHINE OPERATOR IN GROVEPORT, OH

Volt is immediately hiring a Machine Operator in Groveport, OH. As a Machine Operator, you will be:

• Move loose or bundled pipe within the shop and yard.
• Assemble pipe orders (single sticks or bundles) and maintain organized work supplies.
• Follow safety precautions for fabricating, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping pipe.
• Operate powered industrial equipment per OSHA guidelines.
• Set up and maintain machines for pipe fabrication.
• Measure, record, and add random pipe lengths accurately.
• Measure and cut pipe using band saws or torches.
• Thread and bevel pipe using Landis machines.
• Inspect and maintain forklift equipment.

This is a Full-time, contract opportunity. Duration: 3 Months (1st Shift) The ideal candidate will have:

• 6-8 months recent machinery, band saws, automatic welding machines. mechanical background
• Experience using and understanding tape measures.
• To read and understand work orders
