Grants & Funding Specialist
Job Description: Provide funding, coordination, preparation. and administration of grants and loans received from various federal, state, and local governmental agencies for municipalities. Guide clients through possible funding opportunities and applications. Facilitate the award of successful applications. Oversee contractors pay requests and administrative tasks to request funds on behalf of the client during the design and/or construction Phase. Research various federal, local government and private funding opportunities for availability of funds to assist clients in the company’s marketing areas. Certifications / Licenses / Experience required: Grant Training. Familiarity and experience with funding services for civil engineering projects. Computer Skills / Software Knowledge required: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Database and report management knowledge Special Knowledge to perform the job: Good communication skills Good public relations skills Good documentation skills
