Who We're Looking For
As our Senior Product Manager for Shipping & Logistics, you are the architect of the engine that ensures medication reaches the patient safely, efficiently, and on time. Reporting to the VP of Product, you will transition our shipping modules from transactional tools into a strategic automation platform. You won't just manage a backlog; you will own the logic that simplifies complex logistics decisions, allowing pharmacists to stop worrying about shipping logistics so they can focus entirely on patient care.

What You'll Do

• Architect the Shipping Roadmap: Define and execute the strategic vision for VPL’s core shipping modules, prioritizing features that eliminate manual touches in the pharmacy.

• Automate Complex Logistics: Design and implement intelligent carrier-selection logic and automated rate-shopping that optimizes both cost and clinical urgency.

• Partner with Engineering and UX to ensure our shipping engine maintains 100% reliability and intuitive usability for high-volume central fill and specialty pharmacy environments.

• Synthesize Market Intelligence: Translate complex carrier requirements (FedEx, UPS, Couriers) and pharmacy regulations into clean, scalable product requirements.

• Drive Data-Led Iteration: Analyze shipping performance data to identify friction points in the user journey to maximize automation possibilities.

• Bridge the Strategic Gap: Ensure every sprint delivery maps back to our goal of clinical supply chain excellence.

• Orchestrate Cross-Functional Launches: Partner with Marketing and Account Management to develop go-to-market strategies that clearly articulate the clinical and financial value of our shipping automations.
  

What You'll Bring

• Product Mastery: 5+ years of experience in Product Management, specifically within SaaS, logistics , or supply chain technology.

• Collaborative Leadership: A proven track record of leading cross-functional teams (UX, Engineering, Marketing, and Success) to launch complex, multi-stakeholder products.

• Logistics Expertise: Deep understanding of small-parcel shipping, carrier integrations (Web Services/APIs), and multi-modal logistics workflows.

• Domain Knowledge: Previous experience in Healthcare, Pharmacy (Specialty, Infusion, or Mail Order), or a complex SaaS workflow product .

• Technical Fluency: Ability to communicate effectively with engineers regarding system architecture, data models, and integration mapping.

• Outcome Record: A proven track record of managing a product through the full lifecycle—from discovery and "problem-fit" to high-scale adoption.
