TITLE: HR Coordinator (Temp) EXEMPT/NON-EXEMPT: Non- Exempt - TEMP LOCATION: In-Person (1200 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA)PAY RATE: $24 Hourly HOURS: Part-Time AVAILABILITY: Monday - Friday during business hours (to be scheduled with HR Manager)

ABOUT AMANECER: Since Amanecer Community Counseling's inception it has been devoted to creating accessible psychiatric and psychological services for people living in populations whos' needs have been historically neglected. As a part of Amanecer you would be a part of a dynamic team creatively strategizing to provide the absolute best services to clients in such populations.

SUMMARY OF POSITION: The HR Coordinator assists the HR Manager in the efficient and effective functioning of the Human Resources Department, by performing a wide variety of administrative and human resources activities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Maintain personnel and other Human Resources files and materials.2. Send out new hire paperwork and assist with onboarding process.3. Input new hires, TB Tests, evaluations, licenses, and other items into HRIS system.4. Responsible for receptionist duties for Executive Office. This includes receiving, sending, and distributing mail and ordering supplies for the Executive Office.5. Point of contact for agency vehicles. Track and schedule all maintenance for agency vehicles.6. Point of contact for all facilities requests. Track and schedule facility maintenance requests.7. Complete Forms I-9, verify I-9 documentation and maintain I-9 files.8. Assign and maintain agency keys and key cards.9. Send out monthly reports (Birthday, TB Tests, Evaluations due, licenses due, etc.)10. In absence of Executive Assistant, assist Executive Director and act as Board Liaison.11. Draft and send out correspondence, as requested by HR Manager.12. Assemble personnel files for new hire orientation.13. Create and send out employee badges for new hires along with new badges for the LPS team.14. Assist with recruitment and interview process.15. Assist with processing of terminations.16. Assist with the preparation of the performance review process.17. Create certificates and laminate items, as requested.18. Assist HR Department with special projects.19. Answer employee questions about policies and procedures.20. Other duties as assigned by supervisor to meet departmental and agency needs.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: 1. High School or AA required.2. CA Driver License required.3. 1-2 years working in an office setting, preferably in Human Resources.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: 1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.2. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.3. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.4. Ability to multi-task.5. Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.6. Excellent computer skills.7. Flexibility and willingness to take on new tasks and challenges.8. Must be able to take direction well and work independently.9. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT: 1. Must be willing to work in the office as required.2. Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office, with minimal exposure to risks, such as operating dangerous equipment or working with chemicals. Some positions require filed-based services or meeting community partners at their place of business.3. Physical effort includes moving or lifting 25 lbs, as well as typing, standing, sitting, bending, and stopping.4. All employees, regardless of position, serve as role models for the clients who are served by our agency. Therefore, each employee must always be emotionally stable and able to function effectively with children, adolescents, and adults who may have mental or behavioral health problems. The staff must be able to demonstrate appropriate daily behavior, appropriate expression of emotions, as well as appropriate role modeling. Hostility, verbal aggression, unnecessary or inappropriate physical actions, and inappropriate emotional expression are not acceptable.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $24.00 per hour
