RECEPTIONIST AND CASHIER

We believe in talking to people. This individual will be receiving calls into the dealership, determining the nature of the callers' business, and directing callers to their destination. They will also be responsible for assisting with filing, receiving payments for parts and service repairs, and assisting with other office duties as needed.
32 hours per week. Monday 11:00am - 8:00pm. Wednesday 9:00am - 6:00pm. Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm. Saturday 8:00am - 5:00pm. $15.00/hr.

Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and direct customers to the proper department and follow up in a timely manner
- Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution
- Operate switchboard telephone system
- Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold
- Scan files into computer system and ensure that all papers in the files are scanned and labeled correctly
- Assist the managers with various clerical duties as needed
- Calculate the customer's bill using the dealerships computer system
- Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket
- Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers
- Be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient when working with all customers and employees
- Familiarize yourself with department structures and internal procedures for assisting customers efficiently
Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to communicate customers' interests, needs and requests to management and sales personnel
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite is a plus
- Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license
- Willing to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen
